Pieces of Flare

Kristi from The Speckled Dog was so kind to give us one of these...

The Sunshine Award
She turned this $6 table from GW into this...a beautiful table to hold her cookbooks.
Thank you Kristi for thinking of us and for the compliments.

A little bit about us...
We started this blog a few months ago to track our progress as we redecorate, refurnish, and remodel our homes. We love a good thrift store find, our favorite is to see an ugly piece of furniture redone into something beautiful and functional. We are surprised and excited with how well our blog has been doing, and how many of you enjoy it. Thanks for all the support and kind words, it makes all the time and effort we put into this each week very rewarding.

And now to pass this award on to some of our favorite blogs...

Adrienne at Four Bad Apples is a very creative Mom, she paints, cooks, creates, and home schools her four beautiful daughters. She turned this old nightstand into this adorable play kitchen.
