wanderlust

I wish I could hop on a plane and fly away to somewhere warm, sunny and green. We just went from nice sunnyish weather to a blizzard...oh how I'm longing for spring.

Smell the suncreen

These photos are are like a 30 second vacation.
Take one look and your wisked far away to a hidden beach.  Sand between your toes, soaking up your share of the suns vitamin D.
Cold drinks, flirty unmbrellas, salty air and tiny sand crabs skirting in the surf.
I can get lost in these photos for more than 30 seconds.
Book me on the next flight to Portugal!

Hello Peppertowne!

After more than a week of house guests, I'm back!!
I've missed Peppertowne and all of you.  And we have so many new friends!  Welcome.
While I've been away, Amy has found some pretty rad things!

First of all, Isn't the shelf giveaway from Old New Again is especially crave-worthy?
And don't you adore her 'eat' sign.  If you haven't already, sign up to win.  I really wish I could win our own giveaway...sigh.

And Taraduff's Beard Beanie!!!  I'm dying...this is fantastic!
I can think of so many uses...
can't wait for Halloween and snowboard season!
Ok, and isn't there something just oh-so-sexy about a man wearing a beard beanie?

And, did you see Jennifer Young's I Art You?
Tons and tons of intriguing photos to thumb through.  As well as her Friday vignette's...very cool.

Awesome finds Amy!  She's always had a knack for finding the coolest stuff.

This week in Peppertowne

Beside taxes,
it's been a lovely week in Peppertowne.

Finally found an old front door I'm in love with.
Wendy helped me strip it and Roger helped us hang it.
It's almost finished.

Laura from My Dear Trash gave me this chair and this fabric.
She got the chair for $1.98 at GW and the vintage fabric for free at a garage sale.
Can't wait introduce them to one another!

That same friend gave birth to an adorable girl this week.
I love this picture of her!
Groovy tie-dye...she's already a little boho hippie girl.

Another friend, Becki from Whippy Cake made this after being inspired
by one of our Etsy posts.
It's FABULOUS!
Go see the transformation here
And her puppy Cheeky is thrilled!
And finally, every home needs art.  I grew up surrounded by art and
I love the way blogger Sarah at Hennessey House gives a little art inspiration too.

Have the best kind of weekend.

I bought the ferris wheel for my laundry room makeover, and this vintage beach picture I got for free. Check back later for my laundry room reveal

This vintage bike reminds me of my sister Jen, cruising around on her collection of bikes in the warmth of the Arizona winter. The apples remind me of autumn here at home in Utah.
