For these pom poms I followed the instructions from Martha Stewart, except I added several different colors in each pom pom. I also cut the ends in different ways, I cut a few of them on a diagonal, some rounded, and others pointed. I used a tissue paper multicolor pack from Hobby Lobby that I got on sale for 6 bucks!
I love how pretty they look hanging in bunches or strung one by one throughout the branches.

They turned out so cute! I was just looking at a MS pom-pom kit this afternoon at Michael's. Thinking of making some for my sister-in-law's bridal shower!

ReplyDeleteI originally was looking to buy MS pom pom kit also, but realized that I could save tons of money by making my own. They're really simple and fun to make.
ReplyDeleteThese are a really cute idea. My son is graduating in October and they would make great decorations.
ReplyDeleteThese are great! What issue were they in? I subscribe but I don't think I got my August issue. =(
